“T&A Civil Engineering and Building Contractors carried out major refurbishments of the existing four class room school. The refurbishment consisted of replacing all windows and doors, external and internal. Bathrooms were completely renovated to a very high standard including new sanitary wear, floor tiles and wall tiles. The whole storm water drains system was upgraded on the yard, the fencing posts around the yard were completely re-fixed in new kerbing and the fencing then replaced.
The whole school was completely rewired with all new electrical fixtures and fittings installed. A completely new fire alarm system was also installed. New sinks were put in some of the classrooms and a completely new staff bathroom was fitted. Outside a major replacement of drains (waste water, sewage and run off) was undertaken. These had been of considerable concern for a number of years and are now functioning perfectly. All internal doors and architraves were also replaced with glass paneled oak fire doors. These make a huge difference in insulating the classrooms from both cold and sound.
T&A Civil Engineering and Building Contractors organized, oversaw and completed all of the aforementioned work to the required specifications on time and on budget. I was most pleased at the efficiency of the workers, with the high standard to which they worked and with the condition in which they left the school afterwards. The work was carried out in a most efficient manner and any issues that arose were speedily and proficiently dealt with to my complete satisfaction by the contractor.
